Pilates, developed by Josef H. Pilates, is a holistic movement and fitness method that naturally combines body and mind by focusing on precise and fluid exercise. The focus is on strengthening the deep-set muscles and the center of the body, which relieves and straightens the spine. Promoting and maintaining flexibility and strength are important aspects that lead to better well-being. Pilates is suitable for everyone, regardless of age, as well as, for example, in particular for pregnant women or mothers to the rear, amateur and professional athletes and dancers. Pilates is also used in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
BASI® Pilates is the name of Body Arts Scientific International Pilates and as a holistic method of movement, it is always committed to the new scientific knowledge and art on the body.
Especially the aspect of centering by strengthening the middle of the body as well as promoting and maintaining the flexibility and strength are important to me in Pilates lessons. While concentrating on a precise exercise of the fluid sequences, mind and body connect in a natural way.
